July 2017 - Ohio Dominican University recently received funding from the Ohio Department of Higher Education's Innovation Grant Program. In partnership with North Central State College and the Ohio State University, this project will focus on developing Open Educational Resources to increase accessibility of high-quality coursework materials and decrease costs for students. Materials developed by ODU will be used to support One-room Schoolhouse courses.

Small colleges and universities often struggle to offer a variety of upper-level courses due to low enrollment. The ORS setting allows schools to offer low-enrollment courses every semester at no additional cost to the institution.
